HTPGS series grid simulators are IGBT-based power electronic devices, which works as voltage sources and simulates AC electrical networks. With the high-performance HTPGS, different types of network conditions can be set up, allowing the evaluation of all types of scenarios, such as voltage harmonics, voltage dips, long cable with high impedance, voltage and frequency variations.
HTPGS grid simulators are widely used in the renewable energy sector to test grid-connected power convertors, such as PV Inverters, on-line UPSs as well as Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and their compliance with grid codes.
Product Features
Parallel operation of multiple power modules in parallel. Failure of one module does not affect system operation.
Phase angle and amplitude of three phase voltages independently adjustable
Simulation of voltage sag, surge and phase change from 0 to 480V
Simulation of three phase voltage imbalance
Simulation of various low voltage ride through (LVRT)and high voltage ride through (HVRT)
Simulation of resistive, inductive and resistance-inductive impedance.
10-400 Hz wide range frequency output (lower than 45 Hz to ensure that the transformer is not saturated) in step of 0. 01 Hz. Frequency gradual change and step change function provided.
Programmable 2-50th harmonic output
Simulation of square or sine wave fluctuations with a frequency of 0. 5Hz-25Hz and a maximum fluctuation amplitude of 400V
Voltage swell and dip simulation and over/under frequency simulation
Commonly used testing parameters (Voltage, Frequency, Impedance, Harmonics) are stored in the HMI for easy operation.
Response time is less than 2ms for step load change of 100% HTPGS capacity
10 inch touch screen HMI
